Jean Yves Louis Obituary

JEAN YVES LOUIS was born June 23, 1954, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to the parents of SAINT VICTOR LOUIS and MARIE ANASTASIE LINA JOSEPH. As known by everyone his nickname was “LOULOU”. He was the third child born of all his siblings. He completed his studies to a catholic High School, “Frere Instruction Chretienne” in Petion Ville. Loulou was a caring, hard worker, loving and responsible father. He went to business school where he learned accounting & marketing. He spent all his life working as a sales person/marketer for one of the biggest and well-known company called DADESKY CO that represent Nestle, Carnation & Magguy. Depending on his work schedule, he spent few days in other parts of the country, but he always came home on the weekend to be with his family.

During summertime, he worked as a part time agent for the immigration and passport department. Besides work, Loulou was a family man. He always spent quality time with children, helping them with their homework, school projects, and he never missed a school meeting. He always taught his children that “Education is a powerful weapon in life and a passport for the future”. Loulou was a man of God and he loved reading the bible. His favorite Psalms verses were, 23, 27, 35 46, 91,118, and 121. Loulou was a heartwarming person. He was always smiling, joking and loved to see others happy, especially his family and close friends. He was an exceptional man and a caring father with a heart full of gratitude.

Loulou always had dreams of coming to the USA. In 2010, he settled in America and continued his wonderful life surrounded by his family.

On March 18th, 2024, Jean Yves was called home to be with the Lord. He will join his mom, his dad, and his little brother Henry Philippe Honorat who are waiting for him in heaven. We’re going to miss him deeply.

He is survived by his children: Stanley Louis, Louna Louis, Myrdline Louis married to Marcello Pollard, Yamilee Louis.

To his big brothers: Frank Louis & Jean Robert Louis. To his little brother Jacques Gerard Honorat Junior and his little sister Marie Cecile Honorat married to Philippe Philome Toussaint. To his big sisters: Germaine Louis & Marianne Louis.

To his nieces: Sapphire T. Marszalek & Alexa Honorat. To his nephews: James F Honorat, Vladimir N. Honorat, Ansy Honorat & Phelps H. Toussaint. His grandchildren, Roldo Akil Narcisse, Stacy Louis & Marly Louis.

As we reflect on Jesus Christ, who won the victory by dying and rising again, we can say that Loulou, although he has left us, will rise again from death to life with The Father.

To the Louis, Toussaint, Honorat, Joseph, Juste, Paquiot, Honorat families. To all the other relatives and friends affected by this bereavement, we celebrate his life!
